Cosmo Vox Box

So there's this site Influenster that I was introduced to by my lovely sister!

I wanted a way to stay on top of different brands that are personalized for what I like, without having to pay. Now, if you know what Birch Box is, I actually do subscribe to that. So if you know what Birch box is, you have an idea of what Influenster is about.

HOWEVER!!!! Influenster is completely complimentary and you are the one in charge or whether you get a box or not. On this site you have the chance to write reviews of products, ask questions regarding products, and answer others' questions regarding topics. Depending on which vox box is applicable to you, you write reviews and the sort on what you choose.

So, back to my Cosmo Vox Box. I was chosen for a new program, the Cosmo Vox Box. This box included four different products for me to try out, complimentary. After testing these products (picture above) I reviewed them along with challenges provided by Influenster. You can read two of my reviews for my Cosmo Vox Box *Forever Red* and *Venus Embrace Razor*

Gillette Venus Embrace with coupon & Olay Razor Head (Awesome because you can mix & match the razor attachments)

Forever Red Exclusively at Bath & Body Works

Inside of my Cosmo Vox Box, complimentary from Influenster, I received some amazingly delicious perfume. Now I must say, I have been quite partial to adding new scents into my repertoire since I fell in love with a different brand at the age of 12. I only have occasionally added different scents here and there. However, the Forever Red Exclusively at Bath & Body Works ONLY has definitely hit the spot in entering in my rotation of scents from now on!

This scent is heavenly, sexy & completely complimentary to my natural scent, and hopefully others as well.

Bath & Body Works states that this fragrance is the most luxurious fragrance ever and I couldn't agree more! I am totally not a fan of an over powering scent, but one that enhances a persons personal character, and this does just that!

The fragrance comes in a mist, a perfume, rollerball & lip wand duo, shower gel, body lotion, triple body cream, shimmer mist, and sugar scrub.

I am definitely going back and getting more of this scent when I finish what I got complimentary from Influenster's vox box program!

Have you tried this particular brand before? How about any other form of this from Bath & Body Works.

Gillette Venus Embrace

Here it is, mark it as my first official review of a product.

I subscribe to a great program called Influenster. Not sure if y'all have ever heard of it. Check it out if you're interested in staying in the loop on anything and it's completely free. Influenster has various products a person can review. After a certain amount of reviews, you can become qualified for various programs Influenster provides and they will send you, complimentary, different products to review. For a college grad, no money, and the desire to be introduced to new products, this is right up my alley.

I had the pleasure of trying out a brand new program, the Cosmo Vox Box, and in there, I had various products. One that I was excited to use was the Gillette Venus Embrace and a bonus was the chance to try out the interchangeable razor head made by Oil of Olay. The great thing about the Venus handle is that you can mix and match different refills, so you can try any type of razor head you'd like!

I know that I would definitely use this razor again because it was a great, close, smooth shave. I preferred the Oil of Olay razor head compared to the original because I noticed that the original razor head seemed to cause a bit more irritation. The Oil of Olay head gave a great, close shave and provided the moisture smoothness after a close shave.

Does anyone else use this razor? What do you think? Have you tried any other razor heads? Let me know :-)

Why this blog. Post 1

As I'm trying to organize and get settled into adulthood, I'm organizing my blogs now too.

I originally started a blog to work at creating projects around crafts, but as I continue further in my interests, I've noticed they are most closely related to cooking whatever I can and making recipes my own, whether they turn out well or not, becoming a teacher, and trying out new things (experiences, products, you name it).

So here it is. A blog specifically for following my new experiences.

As 2012 comes to a close, I have to say it's been a wonderful year with new experiences, good and bad. But no matter what, this year is a year to reflect on my future and I'd like to share it with others.
